1.Mold development

People’s pursuit of high-quality life has never stopped, and their requirements for the types of 3C products tend to be diversified, and their quality requirements are getting higher and higher. From a mold perspective, molds for 3C products require higher precision, shorter development cycles, and better durability. For example, if you want to develop a sweeping robot, you need to consider mold development and production process from the beginning of product design. Sweeping robots usually consist of a host machine and a charging stand, which are divided into multiple parts: main body, power, electrical and consumables. The main body refers to the appearance of the shell and bottom plate and the structure of the fixed part of the main body; the power refers to the power system with functions such as moving, cleaning and dust collection; in addition to conventional electronic control and wiring, electrical also includes sensors and battery packs , wireless communication and smart chip modules and other related accessories; consumables mainly refer to replaceable accessories, such as side brushes, main brushes, dust box filters, water tank filters, mops and other consumable parts.

2.Mold making

In the production of 3C molds, it is also necessary to select reasonable processes for processing according to the application occasions of the parts. For example, for streamlined product shells, using a high-speed machining center for mold cavity finishing can improve the accuracy of the curved surface and reduce the workload of subsequent polishing. For complex curved surfaces that require high surface roughness, such as lampshade molds with diamond reflective surfaces, in addition to using a high-speed machining center, you can also use mirror EDM for mold cavity processing, so that the surface roughness can be almost achieved in one step. Thread fastening is a common structure in 3C products. For individual internally threaded accessories with smaller diameters, in addition to using gears and chain drives for rotational demoulding, slow wire cutting can also be used to process internal shrinkage cores that engage and slide with each other. , use the conventional ejection method to demould. Although the use of high-end processing methods in the above-mentioned special occasions can achieve twice the result with half the effort, in ordinary processing, it is still necessary to use conventional processing techniques such as CNC and wire cutting to reduce production costs.
