Mold machining process three aspects

Mould machining process generally have casting, cutting and special processing three methods.

Casting Processing Casting processing methods, mainly zinc alloy casting (for cold punching molds, plastic molds, rubber molds), low melting point alloys (for cold punching molds, plastic molds), Shaw casting methods, beryllium-copper alloy casting (plastic molds) and synthetic resin casting (for cold punching molds), such as casting zinc alloy molds, low melting point alloys and synthetic resin casting molds, and is used in the preparation of the cold punching molds on the upper and lower templates, large-scale It is also used for the preparation of upper and lower templates for cold-drawing dies, large-scale deep-drawing dies and blanks for frame parts.

(2), cutting processing cutting processing methods, mainly ordinary machine tool processing (applicable to all types of mold processing), precision cutting machine tool processing, profiling milling machine processing, profiling planer processing, molding grinder processing, engraving machine tools, by mold machine tools and CNC machine tools and other processing methods. According to the mold parts to achieve the processing accuracy, cutting process is divided into roughing process, finishing process and refurbishment process.

Refurbishment processing is removed from the surface of the workpiece after finishing a small amount of machining allowance, in order to get a higher precision and surface quality of the parts, this process is generally referred to as the final process of parts processing, the accuracy and surface quality requirements should be achieved mold design drawings, such as the guide pillar, guide sleeve grinding, polishing work forming parts, and so on.
