Mold injection molding is a processing method used in mass production of certain parts with complex shapes. The specific principle refers to: the heated and melted plastic material is pushed by the screw of the injection molding machine and injected into the cavity of the plastic mold at high pressure. After cooling and solidification, a plastic molded product is obtained.
Although the structure of the mold may vary due to different types and properties of plastics, shapes and structures of plastic products, and types of injection machines, the basic structure is the same. The mold is mainly composed of pouring system, temperature control system, molded parts and structural parts. Among them, the pouring system and molded parts are the parts that are in direct contact with plastics and change with the plastics and products. They are the most complex and changing parts of the mold and require the highest processing smoothness and precision.

It is called a single-parting surface mold, also known as a double-plate mold. It is the simplest and most basic form of injection mold. It can be designed as a single-cavity injection mold or a multi-cavity injection mold according to needs. It is the most widely used injection mold.

Double parting surface injection mold Double parting surface injection mold has two parting surfaces. Compared with single parting surface injection mold, double parting surface injection mold has an intermediate plate that can be partially moved in the fixed mold part (also It is called a movable gate plate, which is equipped with gates, runners and other parts and components required for a fixed mold), so it is also called a three-plate (moving plate, middle plate, fixed plate) injection mold. It is often used for spot pouring. For single-cavity or multi-cavity injection molds that are fed through the mouth, when the mold is opened, the intermediate plate is separated from the fixed template at a certain distance on the guide pillar of the fixed mold, so that the pouring system condensate can be taken out between the two templates. Double parting surface injection molds have complex structures, high manufacturing costs, and difficult parts processing. They are generally not used for the molding of large or extra-large plastic products.

Injection molds with lateral parting and core-pulling mechanisms When the plastic parts have side holes or undersides, they need to be molded with a laterally movable core or slider. After injection molding, the movable mold first moves downward for a certain distance, and then the inclined section of the bent pin fixed on the fixed platen forces the slider to move outward. At the same time, the push rod of the demoulding mechanism pushes the push plate to make the plastic part self-shaped. Take off the core.
