There is a fundamental difference between the process characteristics of fine blanking and ordinary blanking. Ordinary blanking is to control the tearing of the sheet during the blanking process. Fine blanking, on the other hand, does everything possible to inhibit the tearing of the sheet during blanking. Fine blanking parts from the sheet before the separation, always remain as one, fine blanking process, the metal sheet is always in, plastic deformation process.

Stamping thick plate, or hardness of stainless steel, 65Mn, punch material will not be chipped. 8566 high temperature resistance is very good, in the application of hot punching moulds, can significantly extend the length of punch material life.

8566 mould steel is a very good combination of toughness and wear resistance of a mould steel, in addition to thick plate stamping, stainless steel and 65 manganese steel shrapnel to understand the stamping, in the fine blanking moulds in the use of the effect is also very good. Common fine blanking mould steel are: Cr12MoV, DC53, VIKING, LG, CALDIE, 88, 8566, V4, V10, PM23, PM30, PM60.

(1) Cr12MoV, DC53, although the price is relatively low, can easily encounter chipping problems.

2) Mid-range fine blanking die steel: CALDIE, 88, VIKING, 8566, these materials have better chipping resistance, but the price is slightly higher. In the brutal environment, CALDIE, VIKING, 88, will also encounter chipping problems. From a combination of toughness and wear resistance, 8566 mould steel performance is more suitable. Because 8566 toughness is 4 times that of SKH-9, 2 times that of D2. 8566 use hardness HRC58-60, wear resistance is sufficient. Chipping resistance is better than DC53, CALDIE, 88, LD.

3) High-end fine blanking mould materials are, Regal powder high-speed steel V4, V10, PM23, PM60. the disadvantage is that the price is super expensive. Other no problem.
